Phoenix East Aviation Aircraft Displayed at Sun’N’Fun Air Show

Phoenix East Aviation was pleased to help out Diamond Aircraft, the manufacturer of some of the best aircraft in the world, at a recent aviation exhibition and air show in Florida.

The DA-42 twin engine model, which is one of Phoenix East Aviation’s fleet of training aircraft, was in Canada being outfitted with a new Astro engine at the Diamond facility. It was due to be returned to Florida near the time of the big Sun’ n Fun exhibition.

Diamond Aircraft was displaying various aircraft at the Florida aviation show and asked to display the Phoenix East DA-42NG as part of their static display. Of course, Phoenix East was pleased to show off its twin-engine training aircraft — one of a number the academy owns —  with its beautiful Phoenix East Aviation markings and blue logo on the aircraft.

The DA-42NG  is a favorite of students and seasoned pilots alike. With its fully integrated glass cockpit, efficient low-drag airframe and state-of-the-air engine, the DA-42 is ideal for multi-engine training. The DA-42NG provides excellent experience for the pilot, allowing him or her to fly approaches and procedures in conditions similar to the regional jets they will  typically fly after graduation from pilot training.

For the student pilot, the type of aircraft — and its condition — is important.  New generation aircraft, such as the Diamond DA-42NG, provide the best of training for those who wish to be a professional pilot and fly for the airlines.
