Who is PEA & Why Choose PEA?

PEA was founded in 1972 and we are proud to be celebrating our 50th anniversary this year. Over the last five decades PEA has grown from one location, a few students, and a plane; to a global leader in flight training with three different locations, 500+ current students, and a fleet of 65 training aircraft. We pride ourselves in being a Professional Pilot training facility that holds prestigious privileges such as the F1 student visa, Self-examining authority, is Nationally Accredited, and has multiple partnerships with exceptional educational institutions.

PEA has trained thousands of professional pilots and gained recognition worldwide. Our main campus is based out of Daytona Beach International Airport. In addition, we offer accelerated training at our brand new second training facility in the greater Daytona Beach area 25 miles north, in Flagler Beach.

Choosing a flight school is not an easy decision and your choice can have lasting effects on your future career. Not all flight schools are created equal and we encourage you to research your different options. Last year PEA had over 90 students who started their training at a different flight school and then transferred to PEA after they realized their first choice was not the best option for accomplishing their goals or the school was unable to meet student expectations.
