Phoenix East Aviation, a nationally accredited and internationally-recognized flight academy, located in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida, offers FAA approved courses for international and U.S. students planning careers as professional airline pilots and flight dispatchers.
Due to the great weather, on average student pilots are able to fly over 360 days a year.
We’ve trained over 12,000 pilots which is a number we’re very proud and honored to give
Every year our students and instructors fly a collective 30,000+ hours
We’ve been successfully training pilots since 1972
“I chose PEA as a flight academy for many reasons: It’s located in sunny Florida (very good weather for flying almost every day). The academy has a very good reputation and several pilots from Norway (and all over the world) went to PEA and are now hired as professional pilots. You have the unique possibility to work as a flight instructor and gain experience. You are able to move fast with your courses, if you are willing to work hard (meaning there are no restrictions in how many times a week you can do activities). What I like the best is the tutoring program: I would not have been able to move that fast without being tutored during my training and without being able to give tutoring during my instructor rating. I like the relaxed atmosphere, for both the learning environment and the social environment between instructors and students. And being able to work as a flight instructor is one of the main reason I chose PEA!”
